The staff were exceedingly courteous and accommodating, making my request for an early check-in seamless despite my train's early arrival. The food at the hotel, while offering limited variety, was undeniably delicious. the wholesale Banarasi suit shop on the ground floor was a unique find, although a bit pricey, the quality and selection were unmatched. As a documentary filmmaker passionate about India's diverse culture, staying at Hotel Sri Balaji provided an authentic experience, immersing me in the vibrant textures of Banaras. The facilities at the hotel, including the shared lounge and on-site restaurant, were well-kept and inviting. My room was equipped with all the necessary amenities, from a flat-screen TV to a private bathroom with complimentary toiletries. the daily breakfast options, whether buffet, à la carte, or vegetarian, catered to every palate. Overall, Hotel Sri Balaji exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it to fellow travelers seeking a blend of comfort, convenience, and a touch of local charm. Whether exploring the nearby temples or indulging in some souvenir shopping, this hotel truly offers a memorable stay in the heart of Banaras.
